1. INTRODUCTION

At The Niche Foundry Asia Positive Media LLP (operating as "The Niche Foundry India" or "TNF India"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, process, store, and share your information when you visit india.datastack-global.com (the "Event Website"), register for the Data Stack Global India event, or participate in any associated event activities (collectively, the "Event"). This Policy is designed to comply with applicable data protection frameworks in India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023. By accessing the Event Website or registering for the Event, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy. This Policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

In order to deliver the Event and associated services, we collect the following categories of personal data: Identity & Professional Data: Name, job title, company name, corporate email address, phone number, and LinkedIn profile link (if provided). Registration & Event Data: Event registration details, pass type, dietary preferences (where applicable), session attendance records, on-site engagement data, and photography or recordings captured at the Event where you participate. (See Section 3 for opt-out options.) Transaction & Billing Data: Billing address, GSTIN (for corporate invoicing), and payment transaction history. We use secure third-party payment gateways. Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, time zone, and data on how you interact with the Event Website.

3. HOW WE COLLECT YOUR DATA

Direct Interactions: When you register for the Event, purchase a delegate pass, submit a speaker or sponsorship application, complete surveys, or contact our team. Automated Technologies: As you interact with the Event Website, we automatically collect technical data using cookies, server logs, and similar technologies. Third Parties & Partners: We may receive professional data from ticketing partners, co-organisers, or event technology providers.

4. PURPOSE AND USE OF YOUR DATA

To authenticate registrations, issue passes and credentials, manage on-site logistics, and deliver the Event. Networking & Communications: To facilitate relevant peer-to-peer connections and send event updates, schedule changes, and post-event materials. Billing & Administration: To process payments, issue invoices, and notify you of changes to event terms or logistics. Event Media & Marketing: To use photography, video, and audio recordings from the Event for marketing, promotional, and archival purposes. If you do not wish to be the subject of targeted photography, you may opt out by notifying our team at the on-site registration desk. Please refer to Section 9 of our Terms & Conditions for full details, including post-event withdrawal rights. Marketing: To send newsletters, future event invitations, and promotional materials related to TNF India and the Data Stack Global series. (You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.)

5. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Our Event Website uses cookies and tracking technologies to enhance user experience and remember your registration state. Most web browsers accept cookies automatically, but you may modify your browser settings to decline them.

6. SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data in the following limited circumstances: Service Providers: With third-party vendors who assist us with event technology, web hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and analytics. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data. Event Sponsors & Partners: If you attend the Event or download a sponsor-specific resource, we may share your professional contact details with the relevant sponsor, who may contact you directly. You will be given the option to consent to this sharing at the time of registration. Delegate Networking: Delegate lists containing professional details may be shared among registered attendees to facilitate networking, subject to your consent preferences at registration. Corporate Affiliates: We may share data with our parent or affiliated entities, strictly for internal business operations and licensing compliance. Legal Obligations: When required by law, regulatory authorities, or court orders, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of TNF India and its participants.

7. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE DPDP ACT (2023)

As a Data Principal, you are entitled to the following rights regarding your personal data: Right to Access: Request confirmation of whether we are processing your data and obtain a summary of the data we hold. Right to Correction & Erasure: Request the correction of inaccurate data or the deletion of your personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected. Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent for data processing at any time, including your media consent as described in Section 3. Note that withdrawing consent may affect your access to certain event services. Right to Nominate: Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity. To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Grievance Officer at the details provided in Section 10.

8. DATA RETENTION

We will retain your personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy, including satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting requirements. Upon request for deletion, we may retain anonymised data for analytical purposes.

9. SECURITY MEASURES

We implement commercially reasonable security measures through the platforms and technology partners we use to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. However, no internet-based platform is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time at our sole discretion. Any material changes will be communicated to registered participants via email or a prominent notice on the Event Website prior to the change taking effect. Your continued use of the Event Website or participation in the Event following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

If you have any complaints or grievances regarding the Event, these Terms, or your data, please contact our Grievance Redressal Officer: We will acknowledge your grievance within two (2) working days and undertake appropriate investigation and resolution within fifteen (15) days.
